Foundation Drill Rig Operator
Location: Elk River
Job Type: Full-Time On-Site
Compensation: $50000 $95000 per year
We are seeking an experienced Foundation Drill Rig Operator to perform deep foundation and site drilling operations for commercial and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating drill rigs maintaining equipment and working safely in fast-paced construction environments.
Responsibilities- Operate foundation drill rigs and heavy drilling equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up drilling equipment according to project specifications and site conditions
- Perform drilling for foundations piles piers caissons and soil support systems
- Monitor drilling alignment depth and production quality
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and operational issues
- Follow OSHA company and job site safety regulations
- Complete daily production and equipment reports
- Coordinate with supervisors and field crews to maintain project schedules
- Assist with equipment mobilization and site preparation
- 3 years of experience operating foundation drill rigs or similar heavy equipment
- Experience in foundation geotechnical or civil construction projects
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read site layouts and drilling plans
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid drivers license
- Experience with auger drilling caisson drilling or piling systems
- OSHA certification or heavy equipment certifications
- Experience on large civil or commercial foundation projects
