Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy design and development of proprietaryVFX production tools aligned to business needs
Own the full lifecycle of tool implementationconcept stakeholder alignment rolloutandtraining
Drivechange management for tool/process rollouts training adoption and feedback capture
Leadand evaluate tool effectiveness using data and team feedback;drivecontinuousimprovement roadmaps
Conduct discovery with crossfunctional teams to map VFX production/finance workflows (scriptwrap) andestablishstandardized operating procedures to drivecontinuous improvement across productions
Influences vendor selection and cost efficiencyby developing structured bid comparisons and surfacing data-driven insights that improve scoping accuracy and financial planning.
Partner with VFX Finance to request and track contract packages for talent and vendors;support deal memo generation
Lead vendor onboarding and NDA workflows;partnering cross-functionally toensurecompliance with studio requirements and vendor readiness
Directfulfillment of technology needs from productionside teams through studio
technology resources (e.g. DCT) including access requests and support
Definemaintainoperational practices across VFX productions to ensure consistency scalability and alignment with studio priorities.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in VFX eithershowsideor vendor with a strong understanding of production workflows and industry best practices
Skilled with industry-standard creative and editorial tools:ShotGridSyncSketchCinesync
Strong command of productivity and collaboration platforms: Microsoft OfficeAirtableLucidchart
Knowledge ofscripting and automationa plus: Python Excel macros/VBA Office Scripts and Power Automate
Adept in technical storytelling workflow optimization and cross-functional collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask in deadline-driven environments
Self-motivated resourceful and quick to adapt in fast-paced team-oriented settings
Diplomatic and discreet when handling sensitive issues or confidential information
Passionate about VFX and the creative technologies that power the artistry behind it
