About the Project
The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project will double the number of rail tracks and upgrade stations for a 20 kilometre section of the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines between Kuraby a suburb south of Brisbanes CBD and Beenleigh a suburb of Logan City.
Acciona as part of the ActivUS Alliance is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the successful delivery of a major rail infrastructure program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark project within a collaborative alliance environment.
About the Role:
- Lead the commercial and contractual management of key work packages
- Work closely with delivery teams and alliance partners
- Drive strong commercial outcomes and risk management
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract management and administration across major packages
- Provide commercial advice to leadership and project teams
- Manage variations claims and dispute resolution
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Ensure compliance with contracts and alliance frameworks
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
Required Skills and Competencies
- Relevant Qualification in Quantity Surveying Law or Commercial
- 10 years contracts management experience in major infrastructure/construction
- Strong capability in negotiation claims and dispute resolution
- Proven delivery on complex projects with solid risk and cost management
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts procurement and legislation
- Effective leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially astute detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and experience with contract systems/tools
