This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your Role
CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Architect to play a pivotal role in a major technological transformation: bringing our critical media technical and broadcast workstations into our enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) framework. Reporting to the End-User Technology Senior Manager you will act as the technical design authority for the Media Workstation Management project.
This individual will possess in-depth expertise in Microsoft Intune SCCM Autopilot and related technologies coupled with an understanding of high-availability mission-critical IT environments. You will spearhead the transition of unmanaged and legacy-managed media devices into a modern co-management model ensuring that security and compliance standards are met without ever compromising broadcast continuity or content creation performance.

You will be hands-on in retiring fragmented region-specific legacy tools and building a unified standardized future. We want to hear your ideas see your designs and implement your innovations to drastically reduce the manual operational burden on our local maintenance teams.
How you will make a difference:
Architecture & Strategy: You will lead the design of a comprehensive Intune and SCCM co-management architecture and automated deployment workflows specifically tailored for media environments while planning the retirement of legacy tools.
Implementation & Validation: You will oversee the phased onboarding of critical workstations leading rigorous testing and pilot deployments to ensure that new security and compliance policies have zero negative impact on live broadcast operations.
Governance & Support: You will author clear technical documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessions for regional maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition from manual processes to centralized management.
Strategic Leadership: You will act as the technical bridge between enterprise IT standards and media operations collaborating closely with broadcast engineers local IT teams and production stakeholders.
What you bring:
- University degree or college diploma in the field of computer science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 7 years experience in a technical lead or systems architect role with a demonstrated focus on enterprise endpoint technologies.
- Deep hands-on technical working experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems macOS Active Directory Azure/Entra environment and Group Policy management.
- Strong technical knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell Bash) for automation and policy deployment.
- Sensitivity to or direct experience with high-availability mission-critical or broadcast/media IT environments where system interruption is not an option.
- Experience with legacy deployment and management tools (such as Ivanti or PDQ Deploy) is a strong asset.
- Strong communication collaboration and leadership abilities specifically in managing technical change with specialized stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly self-motivated directed and ability to exercise sound judgment work independently and take the initiative.
- Bilingual (French/English)
