Job Summary
Role: Azure Infrastructure Solution Architect Hybrid (Tue-Thurs 8:30 AM 5:00 PM EST) Primary Skills: Strong expertise in Azure IaaS services and networking. Experience with Azure networking (VNet NSG Firewall DNS). Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (ARM Bicep Terraform). Experience with security and compliance frameworks. Understanding of hybrid cloud environments. Ability to interpret and extend existing architecture designs. Role Overview The Azure Infrastructure Solution Architect focuses on designing and implementing robust scalable and secure infrastructure solutions on Azure. This role often works from existing high-level architecture diagrams and transforms them into detailed infrastructure designs. Key Responsibilities Design Azure infrastructure including networking compute and storage solutions. Translate high-level architecture diagrams into detailed infrastructure designs. Define virtual network architecture connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute) and security. Design identity and access management strategies (Azure AD RBAC). Implement disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Select appropriate IaaS services (VMs Scale Sets Load Balancers Storage). Ensure compliance with governance policies and cost optimization. Collaborate with solution architects and operations teams. |
