We are looking for a sincere research-oriented and detail-focused Editorial Research Assistant to support ongoing intellectual historical and publication-oriented research work related to:
- Indus-related book references and research material collection
- IndiaChina ancient Buddhist relations
- Extraction compilation and organization of historical and academic material for editorial and publishing purposes
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured online and offline research
- Collect and organize historical academic and archival reference material
- Extract relevant content from books journals articles reports speeches and research papers
- Compile notes references quotations and source documents systematically
- Assist in preparing research summaries and categorized documentation
- Coordinate with libraries publishers archives and academic sources where required
- Maintain proper indexing and digital records of collected material
- Support editorial documentation and publication-related activities
- Assist in organizing content for books articles manuscripts and research publications
- Good command over English language and comprehension
- Strong internet research and documentation skills
- Interest in history Buddhism Indian civilization geopolitics international relations or cultural studies preferred
- Ability to read organize and summarize large volumes of information
- Proficiency in MS Word Google Docs Excel and digital research tools
- Patient methodical and detail-oriented approach
- Graduate in History Political Science International Relations Journalism Humanities Buddhist Studies or related disciplines preferred
- Freshers with strong research aptitude may also apply
- Based at South Avenue New Delhi
