To provide effective dynamic and inspirational support to SEL ERP team and its schools so that they build effective systems and process. The purpose of this position is to ensure sales & marketing excellence in our schools by planning designing and implementing effective systems and policies. Provide seamless support to Shri Educare and its owned/partner schools. Support the current Sales & Marketing team and unit heads in driving various initiatives & deployment of best practices & projects across all units (including overseas) as per the annual plans.

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for Selling Shriconnect solution by strategizing Planning & operationalizing sales activities to generate profitable business across geographies. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving institutional sales managing regional sales operations building strategic partnerships and expanding ShriConnects presence across the education ecosystem.

  • Drive consistent business growth across assigned territories and regions.
  • Achieve assigned monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely payment collections and NIL NPA.
  • Ensure strong customer relationship with our new and existing customers.

The role of Sales Manager at ShriConnect is highly strategic dynamic and performance-driven requiring the ability to manage complex institutional sales cycles lead regional teams and drive technology transformation within the education sector. Sales & marketing becomes a key area in expanding the reach and generating more avenues for its utility. Choosing an effective channel of sales would also be a very important of the role.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  1. Market Research & Reaching out to Potential clients
  • Track competitor activities and market trends.
  • Identify new market opportunities and partnership possibilities.
  • Establishing Channels forCompetitor analysis and developing intel on competitive landscape and competitor strategies.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and product improvements.

2. Driving and achieving the budgeted numbers & ensure receivables

  • Ensure consistent revenue growth across assigned territories customer segments and institutional accounts.
  • Drive and achieve assigned monthly quarterly and annual sales targets in line with organizational business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline/funnel to support target achievement and business continuity.
  • Maintain strong commercial discipline while managing pricing proposals and customer negotiations.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and closely monitor outstanding receivables from customers.

3. Business Development

  • Generate qualified leads and build a strong pipeline of prospective institutional customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Principals Directors Trustees Administrators and IT Heads
  • Promote ShriConnects technology solutions through consultative and solution-oriented engagement.
  • Conduct client meetings presentations demonstrations and business discussions to understand customer requirements and position suitable solutions.
  • Support proposal creation commercial discussions negotiations and business closures.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing customer accounts.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer expectations to support business strategy and growth planning.
  • Drive accountability ownership and performance culture across the sales teams.
  • Represent ShriConnect with strong business ethics professionalism credibility and customer-centric approach.

Nature of Subordinate Activities

Sales Planning & Execution

  • Monitor execution of sales plans territory coverage and customer engagement activities.
  • Ensure effective lead generation pipeline development and closure management.

Team Performance Management

  • Review individual and Review individual and regional productivity conversion ratios and revenue contribution.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.

Solution Selling & Business Consultation

  • Ensure teams adopt consultative and solution-based selling approaches.
  • Support ASM and RSM teams during strategic presentations demos and large opportunity discussions.
  • Guide teams in positioning ShriConnects technology ecosystem effectively.

Training & Capability Building

  • Mentor and coach ASM and RSM teams on sales strategy solution selling negotiation and customer handling.
  • Conduct regular product knowledge and market intelligence sessions.
  • Develop leadership capabilities within regional sales teams.

Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure effective coordination between sales teams and internal departments including:
  • Pre-Sales Technical Support
  • Finance
  • Operations

Challenges/Complexity of Job

  • Managing long and multi-layered sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders such as Chairpersons Trustees Principals IT Heads Procurement Teams and Management Committees.
  • Handling delayed decision-making processes within educational institutions.
  • Differentiating ShriConnects offerings through value-driven and consultative engagement.
  • Achieving aggressive revenue targets while maintaining healthy profitability margins.
  • Balancing competitive pricing with sustainable business growth.
  • Ensuring consistent sales execution productivity and accountability across geographically distributed teams.
  • Handling escalations and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring seamless execution from sales closure to deployment.

Position Specifications

Educational Qualification (Minimal Requirement) - Btech/MBA/MCA with techno commercial capabilities MBA preferred.

Duration & nature of past experience required (Minimal Requirement) - (a) Minimum 5 years of experience in in sales field from an EdTech/ERP field (b) This role requires a dynamic leader who can confidently engage senior institutional stakeholders while driving large-scale business growth.
