Proposed Schedule: Mon Tue Wed Fri 8-6pm

Compensation:

The hiring range for this position is $28.25 - $44.00/hour based on skillset and experience.

The Internal Medicine team is constantly working with our internists to provide information to our clients regarding patient care updates and treatments. This is one department that focuses on relationship building as patient care is longer in duration. If you want to combine your love of animals and clients this is the department for you!

What youll do:

Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).

Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg %/mg etc).

Induce monitor and recoverpatients fromanesthesia

Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.

Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI nasal urinary airway).

Patient discharge and client education

Who you are:

State Registered Veterinary Technician licensepreferred

Prior veterinary experience required previousinternal medicine or anesthesiaexperience desired

Proficient in calculations (drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)

Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
