Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room environment
- Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and procedural teams during operations
- Monitor patient status before during and after surgery
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection prevention standards
- Administer medications and treatments as required
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and patient safety compliance
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Strong perioperative and surgical nursing skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR setting
