Hourly Compensation: $17-$19/hr
Schedule:
7 PM - 7 AM (Flexibility to work weekends and overtime)
Position Overview
Identify and provide parts to maintenance or production personnel. The employee is expected to utilize several computer systems in order to search work orders issue parts/materials and to find additional information related to the part or situation.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments to accurately assess customer needs and establish parts priority
Assist with the unloading receiving and verification of materials and parts
Accurately identify parts and coordinate with appropriate personnel or departments for material pickup and distribution
Properly store and organize materials in designated inventory locations
Research historical inventory movements locations and transfers to determine root causes of discrepancies or issues.
Contribute to the development and implementation of corrective actions related to inventory control
Conduct inventory audits at defined intervals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the stock management system
Provide support to other parts personnel and on-campus warehouse locations to ensure efficient service to internal customers
Requirements
High School diploma or G.E.D certificate
Basic understanding Mechanical and/or Electrical parts knowledge
1 year of Inventory experience preferred
Ability to read and write the English language
Ability to push pull or lift heavy objects and/or machine parts with or without assistance
Ability to work with scanning equipment and online software
