Location: Albany NY Hybrid Resource is expected to be onsite 2 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis & Documentation
- Elicit document and validate business requirements through stakeholder engagement
- Develop business requirement documents (BRDs) use cases and process flows
- Document current-state and future-state workflows
- Create standardize and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation
- Support strategic initiatives by translating high-level goals into actionable documentation and processes
- Data Analysis & SQL Development
- Write optimize and maintain SQL queries for reporting and analysis
- Collect clean and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Perform data validation reconciliation and quality assurance
- Develop reports dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Excel or Tableau
- Translate analytical findings into business insights and requirements
- Document analytical approaches assumptions data sources logic and analytical methodologies
- Support both technical and non-technical stakeholders in understanding data outputs
- Align business needs with data solutions and reporting capabilities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Data Analytics Public Administration or related field
- 5 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis data analysis or related roles
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements and processes
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Power BI Tableau)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in healthcare pharmacy programs Medicaid Long-Term Care (LTC) or EVV environments
- Experience developing SOPs and operational documentation
- Knowledge of data governance data modeling or ETL processes
- Relevant certifications (CBAP PMI-PBA PMP or data analytics certifications)
