Job Description:
Retail Experience (Nice-to-Have vs Required)
- Retail experience is not required if TPM/technical skills are strong
- Ideal candidate can quickly ramp on retail systems and landscape
- If coming from retail:
- Should understand merchandising systems POS and store systems
- Be able to speak to how systems interact within a retail environment
- Candidates lacking basic knowledge of retail systems (if claiming retail experience) are not a fit
Vendor Management Experience
- Experience managing 15 vendors and integrations
- Deep involvement in:
- Defining scope across vendors
- Building and managing timelines
- Tracking deliverables closely
- Driving accountability across external partners
Background Profile
- Typically comes from:
- Technical/IT background moved into program/project management or
- Product background with strong technical exposure
- Proven experience functioning as a true Technical Program Manager (TPM)
