Job Summary

The Technical Sales Consultant is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customer accounts managing existing client relationships and promoting specialized analytical chemistry solutions. This role involves identifying sales opportunities delivering technical presentations developing proposals conducting product demonstrations and closing business while providing exceptional customer support. The position combines technical expertise with business development and sales responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Present technical products and solutions to executives laboratory managers production managers and technical staff.
  • Develop prepare and present sales proposals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical consultations.
  • Negotiate and close business opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Travel as required for meetings demonstrations installations and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales objectives and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Experience in technical sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytical instruments or scientific equipment is beneficial.
  • Strong communication presentation and business development skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Strong customer service and consultative selling abilities.
  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Natural Sciences Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel as required.
