Description

ESF Language & Learning Centre (Wan Chai) is looking for an Educational Assistant (Mandarin) who is passionate about working with our youngest learners (2-3 years old) who thrive in a highly creative playful and collaborative environment and who can make a positive contribution to our creative and dynamic community. The position will be a full-time contract from August 2026 onwards.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a highly motivated and professional group of teachers and support staff
Work collaboratively with other members of the team and the class teacher in preparing lesson plans and resources
Provide support for 2-3 years old students and enrich students learning experience
Support the emotional development of children by modelling self-regulating behaviours
Observe gather and document information on childrens progress and report them to the teacher

Requirements

Be self-motivated
Be proficient in Chinese language (Putonghua)
Have excellent English communication skills
Have experience working with children between 2 to 5 years old
Have experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds
An Early Years/Teaching qualification would be an advantage.
Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
