Educational Assistant, Mandarin (Starting Aug 2026) ESF Language & Learning Centre (Wan Chai)
Job Summary
ESF Language & Learning Centre (Wan Chai) is looking for an Educational Assistant (Mandarin) who is passionate about working with our youngest learners (2-3 years old) who thrive in a highly creative playful and collaborative environment and who can make a positive contribution to our creative and dynamic community. The position will be a full-time contract from August 2026 onwards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a highly motivated and professional group of teachers and support staff
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team and the class teacher in preparing lesson plans and resources
- Provide support for 2-3 years old students and enrich students learning experience
- Support the emotional development of children by modelling self-regulating behaviours
- Observe gather and document information on childrens progress and report them to the teacher
Requirements
- Be self-motivated
- Be proficient in Chinese language (Putonghua)
- Have excellent English communication skills
- Have experience working with children between 2 to 5 years old
- Have experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds
- An Early Years/Teaching qualification would be an advantage.
- Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
