Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Operations for the East Campus is responsible for leading the strategic operational and financial performance of Behavioral Health services across all product lines including Commercial Medicaid and Medicare.
This role drives growth operational excellence and innovation ensuring the organization maintains a competitive position in the market while meeting all contractual clinical and regulatory expectations. The AVP partners with executive leadership clinical teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality patient care and sustainable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of annual operating and strategic plans for Behavioral Health services
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting forecasting and variance management
- Ensure achievement of contractual performance guarantees and operational targets
- Drive strategic growth initiatives in collaboration with Marketing Product and Sales teams
- Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with organizational policies regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Ensure clinical and operational teams deliver efficient high-quality care aligned with patient and community needs
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners referral sources and community stakeholders
- Provide leadership and oversight for East Campus operations including staffing recruitment purchasing and resource allocation
- Develop and implement business plans to support long-term growth and sustainability
- Collaborate with medical staff leadership teams and board members to align organizational priorities
- Oversee organizational structure reporting relationships and operational workflows
- Establish and maintain policies procedures and performance standards in accordance with organizational and board directives
- Manage financial resources to ensure effective use of funds and long-term organizational health
- Oversee facility operations including asset management maintenance and capital planning
- Ensure continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes
- Represent the organization in external partnerships and community engagements
- Support governance activities including board meetings reporting and strategic planning
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Healthcare Administration or a related field required
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Masters degree in in Counseling or Social Work
- Masters degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in Behavioral Health services preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
