The Compliance team in India operates across Mumbai Pune and Gift City (Ahmedabad) providing comprehensive compliance oversight for S&P Global Ratings and its affiliates. Our team valuescollaborative problem-solving attention to detail and proactive regulatory managementto ensure adherence to all applicable regulations while supporting business objectives.

As a Compliance Officer you will play a critical role insafeguarding our regulatory standingat Gift City whileenabling business growth through effective compliance position involves direct engagement with regulators and SEZ authorities making your work highly visible and impactful to our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintaina comprehensive compliance oversight framework to ensure adherence to Gift City regulatory requirements including IFSCA (Capital Market Intermediaries) Regulations 2025 and IFSCA (AML CFT and KYC) Guidelines 2022
- Serve asprimary regulatory liaisonmanaging all interactions with IFSCA and other regulatory bodies including examination coordination and regulatory submissions
- Develop update and implementinternal policies and procedures to align with evolving regulations and Group standards
- Providestrategic regulatory guidanceto business units operations teams and senior management on compliance risks and solutions
- Conduct comprehensive monitoring and reportingincluding managing internal audits tracking regulatory developments and providing compliance status updates to senior leadership
- Delivercompliance training programsand coordinate with control functions to ensure comprehensive policy adherence across all Ratings India business operations
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
What Were Looking For:
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have2 years of experience in compliance risk or audit functionswithin multinational banking or financial services organizations with global operations
- Strong expertise in Gift City IFSC regulations RBI/SEBI guidelines AML protocols and regulatory reporting requirements
- Professional degree in accounting finance law management or equivalent qualification
- Exceptional analytical and detail-oriented capabilitieswith proven ability to review interpret and analyze complex regulatory data and information
- Confident presentation and training delivery skillswith experience conducting in-person training sessions for large employee groups
- Demonstrated ability totranslate complex compliance concepts into practical operational applicationsand provide effective solutions for compliance-related challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skillswith the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time both within and outside India to support business requirements
- Preferred technical skills includeData Science Tableau or Pythonfor enhanced data analysis capabilities
