Work Schedule:

100% FTE Mon-Fri 8am-430pm additional days as needed rotating between Belvidere Hospital and Carbone Cancer Center. You will work at UW Health Belvidere Hospital (Belvidere IL) and Carbone Cancer Center (Rockford IL)

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening night and weekend shift differential

Overtime

On-call pay

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from a regionally accredited college/university and successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Science program. Required
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

4 years experience as a medical laboratory scientist/medical technologist in a full service laboratory. Required
Supervisory experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) Certification required. Certification must be maintained by submitting appropriate continuing education documentation as required by the certifying agency. Required
