Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Long-Term Care (LTC) House Supervisor on a contract assignment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations supporting clinical staff ensuring quality resident care and maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills extensive long-term care experience and the ability to effectively manage patient care operations across multiple shifts.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide administrative and clinical supervision for nursing personnel and support staff.

Oversee daily operations of the long-term care unit to ensure safe efficient and high-quality resident care.

Serve as the clinical resource and decision-maker during assigned shifts.

Monitor resident care delivery and ensure compliance with nursing standards policies and regulatory requirements.

Assist with staffing coordination scheduling adjustments and patient flow management.

Respond to resident family and staff concerns and facilitate appropriate resolutions.

Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary teams and department leaders to coordinate care and operational activities.

Participate in incident management quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.

Support staff development through mentoring coaching and clinical guidance.

Maintain accurate documentation and reports within the electronic medical record system.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.

Recent experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings.

Previous supervisory charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.

Strong clinical assessment problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Excellent communication organizational and conflict-resolution skills.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Additional specialty certifications relevant to long-term care and nursing leadership

40 Hours per Week

Consecutive Weekend Coverage Required as Needed

Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Familiarity with PointClickCare or similar long-term care EMR systems is advantageous.

Coordinate staffing and operational needs during assigned shifts.

Ensure adherence to facility policies state regulations and quality standards.

Provide leadership support during emergencies and critical situations.

Promote a positive work environment focused on resident-centered care and teamwork.

Active state RN licensure must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.

Candidates must be available to work rotating schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.
