SummerClassroom Assistantsare needed to support the SummerJumpstart programfor theRochester Community Schools.Applications for these temporary positions will be accepteduntil filled.

Paraeducators will be expected to support implementation of instructional techniques that will lead to improved student achievement. Emphasis will be given to higher level thinking skills organization skills integration of knowledge connecting learning to prior knowledge cooperative learning active participation of the learner and integration of technology. Actual numbers of positions are dependent upon the enrollment.

Baldwin Elementary

August 11th

Hours: 8:30 am - 11:00 am

August 12th

Hours: 8:30 am 12:00 pm

Student hours:

9:00am - 11:00am

Interviews will be held at theend of Aprilby the building administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Desire to work with at-risk students.
2. Desire to work with students who need to be academically challenged.

SALARY:

Per hour based on current 25-26 step(funded by Teaching & Learning) contingent on all designated working days and will be adjusted accordingly if all working days are unmet.
