Position Summary
We are seeking a full-timeClient Associate & Trust Servicesto join our team. Based inSeattle Laird Norton Wetherby (LNW) is dedicated to helping high-net-worth individuals and families manage and grow their wealth through financial planning investment management and trust & estate currently have trust charters in both Washington and South Dakota.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the client services team theClient Associate &TrustServices rolewillassistWealthManagersand Analysts in creating a comprehensive wealth management strategy for our clients by providing trust administration and wealth planning support. Specifically the Trust Associate will provide key administrative support to our Trust Resource Group including but not limited to:
- Account administration such as reviewing submitting scanningand maintaining documentation opening and closing accounts and collecting and coordinating tax reports/forms.
- Cash management duties including monitoring and administering daily transactions (checks wires ACHs journals etc.) and weekly cash balances evaluating disbursement requests according to trust documents and preparing discretionary distributions and documentation.
- Client communication and deliverablesassistingwithpreparing periodic reports presentations and client-initiated requests.
- Maintainingaccurateclient records and information across various platforms (internal programs CRM etc.)
- Internal support including backing upcolleagues ensuring compliance with all protocols andmaintainingpositive and effective team communication.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in private wealth management trust services and/or client services within the finance industry.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry is required.
- Professional certifications are not necessary but are a plus.
- Prior experience reviewing trust documents and/or working on trusts is a plus.

- Knowledge of or ability to learn basic accounting skillsand trust accounting basics.
- Expertuserof Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and Adobe; willing to take skills and aptitude assessments. Other software applications such as financial software tools are a plus.
Candidates must meet all employment qualifications in force at time of hiring including successful passing of background & credit checks and any pre-employment examinations signing of all employee agreements and can perform the essential functions duties and responsibilitiesset forth ina consistent and efficient manner.
Compensation and Benefits
We provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and skills and offer an annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The salary range for this position starts at $65500 for those without experience to $82000 for those who meet all qualifications depending on location and experience.
The salary range applies to current posting and may change in the future. The posted salary range may vary for key factors including but not limited to education job-related knowledge experience skill set and geographic location.
