Lead Digital Enablement at One of Baxters Largest Manufacturing Sites Worldwide

Baxter is seeking a Manufacturing Relationship Manager Plant IT to support our Lessines Manufacturing Plant one of Baxters largest manufacturing sites in EMEA and the second largest globally as well as our primary global manufacturing hub for nutrition products.

This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing operations and digital technology with a direct impact on the performance reliability and compliance of a highly complex and businesscritical production site serving patients worldwide.

Your Role

As the Manufacturing Relationship Manager for the Lessines plant you act as the primary IT partner for site leadership ensuring that manufacturing technology needs are clearly understood strategically prioritized and effectively delivered.

You will work closely with plant management supply chain functions and global IT teams to define and execute a plantlevel manufacturing IT strategy aligned with Baxters global standards while addressing the specific demands of a largescale highvolume regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business & IT Partnership

    • Serve as the main IT interface for the Lessines Manufacturing Plant a flagship site within Baxters global manufacturing network.

    • Translate global and regional manufacturing strategies into a clear technology roadmap for the site.

    • Understand key financial operational and performance drivers and ensure IT initiatives support these objectives.

    • Advocate for valuedriven digital solutions that enhance safety quality performance and cost efficiency.

  • Manufacturing Technology Strategy & Delivery

    • Define own and continuously evolve the manufacturing IT strategy and roadmap for the Lessines plant.

    • Balance global IT standardization with local manufacturing needs in a complex production environment.

    • Partner with IT delivery teams to prioritize initiatives manage scope and ensure reliable execution.

    • Actively promote the art of the possible by identifying how digital technologies can unlock manufacturing value.

  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

    • Support operational teams by applying structured analysis and problemsolving to critical technology and process issues.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality safety productivity and compliance.

    • Participate in audits and ensure IT solutions fully support GxP requirements.

    • Drive improvements through performance reviews Gemba observations and action followup.

  • Leadership & Collaboration

    • Be an active member of both the manufacturing leadership community and IT manufacturing network.

    • Act as a subjectmatter expert and trusted advisor on manufacturingrelated digital solutions.

    • Foster strong collaboration across manufacturing quality supply chain and IT teams.

    • Build strong relationships across the plant while maintaining alignment with global IT stakeholders.

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Business Process Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    • Minimum 7 years of technical experience including 5 years in IT business partnership roles in manufacturing environment.

    • Strong experience in a regulated (GxP) manufacturing environment (Pharma Biotech Nutrition or similar industries) preferred.

  • Skills & Competencies

    • Solid understanding of largescale manufacturing operations and supporting digital ecosystems.

    • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into effective scalable IT solutions.

    • Experience working in crossfunctional and multistakeholder environments.

    • Strong analytical organizational and rootcause analysis skills.

    • Excellent communication skills able to engage both technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Languages

    • French: Excellent proficiency (required)

    • English: Professional working proficiency (intermediate level at minimum)
