Responsibilities
- Maintain production equipment to achieve 98% uptime through effective first-line maintenance and quick response to breakdowns.
- Perform routine inspections lubrication and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
- Escalate complex or recurring issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Support equipment setup changeovers and performance improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and downtime records.
- Comply with all health safety and food hygiene standards (HACCP GMP).
- Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives within the maintenance area.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Technical or trade qualification in mechanical electrical or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in maintenance or engineering support ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and fault-finding techniques.
