Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Assembles disassembles and modifies systems by changing removing replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

  • Oversees assembly disassembly or overhaul operations.

  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment for testing and validation.

  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

  • Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components to ensure performance.

  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance for repairs test results modifications and inspection results.

  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

  • Applies knowledge of aerospace systems to modify and repair components.

  • Uses precision tools and equipment for system configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Documents test results and inspection findings per regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Experience assembling disassembling and modifying aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems.

  • Experience performing validation and verification testing of systems and components.

  • Experience documenting procedures for regulatory compliance (repairs test results modifications inspections).

  • Experience inspecting components and verifying repairs for flight worthiness.

  • Ability to configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

  • Experience with assembly disassembly and overhaul of aircraft systems.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and work instructions.

  • Familiarity with quality and safety procedures for aerospace maintenance.
