Project Engineer (Civil) Integrated Waste Management Facility
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Project Engineer (Civil) to support an Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project in Tuas Singapore. Reporting to the Project Director the role will focus on engineering coordination planning and technical management across multiple engineering disciplines within a large-scale infrastructure project environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills good planning ability and experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination involving civil and building services/M&E systems.
This is a regular full-time position directly employed under AECOM Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Director Deputy Project Director and the project management team in the coordination and delivery of engineering activities for the IWMF project.
- Coordinate across civil structural building services/ M&E architectural process and environmental disciplines to facilitate integrated project delivery.
- Review engineering designs technical specifications drawings and consultant submissions.
- Assist with engineering planning interface management and technical coordination activities.
- Monitor engineering progress and proactively identify technical risks interface issues and coordination challenges.
- Participate in technical meetings and coordination workshops with clients consultants contractors and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of engineering reports presentations technical correspondence and project documentation.
- Coordinate technical queries design changes and interdisciplinary engineering matters.
- Collaborate closely with construction and site teams to support project execution and technical issue resolution.
- Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with project quality safety and technical requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering infrastructure or industrial projects. Experience in large-scale waste-to-energy projects will be a significant advantage.
- Strong civil engineering background is essential. Experience in building services/ M&E coordination or multi-disciplinary engineering design will be advantageous.
- Prior construction or site experience is beneficial.
- Strong communication analytical planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative multi-disciplinary project environment.
- Good stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills.
