Tom Wood Honda is excited to be transitioning to a brand-new dealership facility inWhitestown IN (near Zionsville North Brownsburg and West Carmel) and is expected to open early 2027.

Position Summary
Tom Wood is seeking a results drivenSales Manager to lead and develop a high performing sales team while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability coaching and driving both volume and profitability. Our Sales Managers lead from the frontworking the desk supporting the team and ensuring every customer interaction reflects Tom Wood values.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead train and manage the sales team to maximize sales volume profitability and customer satisfaction
- Actively desk deals manage customer turnovers and support sales consultants throughout the entire sales process
- Partner with the General Manager and Finance team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Analyze and manage P&L performance to ensure strong store profitability
- Coach mentor and develop Sales Consultants F&I Managers and future sales leaders
- Monitor and improve CSI scores conversion rates and department KPIs
- Assist with new vehicle inventory management pricing strategies and merchandising
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs dealership policies and ethical sales practices
- Maintain a visible engaged presence on the showroom floor
Success Indicators
- Consistent achievement of monthly and annual sales goals
- Strong CSI and customer retention results
- High team engagement with reduced turnover
- Effective deal structuring
- Development and promotion of internal sales talent
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in automotive sales
- Proven track record of success in a highvolume dealership environment
- Strong closing andCRM skills required
- Demonstrated ability to lead coach and hold teams accountable
- Financial and analytical aptitude including discounts commissions interest and profitability analysis
- Excellent customer service history and commitment to ethical selling
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
