Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) delivers exceptional customer service to both current and prospective clients ensuring efficient product delivery and meeting sales and profitability objectives set by management.
Responsibilities
The typical duties of the Inside Sales Representative include:
- Increasing sales and supporting an assigned customer base
- Preparing proposals quotations and sales contracts
- Responding promptly to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) within 24 hours
- Coordinating with internal teams to close sales opportunities
- Meeting or exceeding performance goals set by the Inside Sales Manager
- Monitoring open orders and communicating delivery updates
- Maintaining strong product knowledge and sales materials
- Analyzing sales data to support pricing strategies
- Contributing to a positive work environment through collaboration
- Communicating effectively with sales business development and management
- Preparing and presenting weekly sales reports with follow-up actions
- Adhering to all company policies and ethical standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of sales experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or related field
- Two or more years in sales and/or marketing
- Relevant product knowledge of the aerospace defense space and semiconductor markets
