DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Business & Process Excellence Managerlocatedin Envigado Colombia.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview
The Business & Process Excellence Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across DePuy Synthes by leading enterprise and functional process improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with crossfunctional leaders toidentify analyze and improve endtoend business processes enabling higher quality outcomes improved efficiency and sustainable performance. The position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact by embedding a culture of continuous improvement and datadriven decision making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the identification analysis and improvement of core business processes using Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Partner with functional and regional leaders to translate business strategy into process excellence roadmaps and measurable improvement initiatives.
Facilitate crossfunctional workshops to map currentstate processesidentifygaps and design futurestate solutions.
Drive standardization of processes documentation and performance metrics to improve quality compliance and efficiency.
Manage and track process improvement projects ensuring delivery against timelines cost and benefit targets.
Establish andmonitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and support datadriven decisions.
Support change management activities including stakeholder engagement communication and training to ensure adoption of new processes.
Coach and mentor team members and business partners on process excellence tools and best practices.
Ensure all activities align with Johnson & Johnson Credo values quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degreein Business Administration Engineering Industrial Engineering Operations ora relatedfield.
Masters degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Typically8-10 years of progressive experiencein business process improvement operational excellence quality or related functions.
Demonstrated experience leading crossfunctional process improvement initiatives in a complex organization.
Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Kaizen or similar methodologies.
Proven ability to analyze data develop insights and translate them into actionable improvement plans.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with measurable business outcomes.
Strong stakeholder management facilitation and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience in medical devices healthcare life sciences or a regulated industry.
Formal certification such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
Experience supporting global or regional process standardization initiatives.
Exposure todigital process improvement tools automation or analytics platforms.
Other:
Languages:Spanish and Englishproficiency.
Travel:Up to 20% domestic and/or international travel as business needs require.
Certifications:Lean Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or Black Belt).
