Electrical Technician
Job Summary
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections testing and preventative maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults including cabling issues control panel issues component failures and system malfunctions.
- Installation & Upgrade: Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and systems and implement upgrades to existing systems as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of electrical tools and materials.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders & maintenance logs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance crews to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve technical issues.
- Emergency Response: Be available for emergency repairs and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of electrical systems.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years
Educational Qualification:OND in Electrical Engineering
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (AC/DC and power distribution)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Installation maintenance and repair of electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
- Knowledge of motors generators and control panels
