Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&A) Technician

Install commission and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems (split units VRF/VRV chillers industrial cooling units)
Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical mechanical and refrigerant-related faults
Carry out repairs and replace components (compressors condensers evaporators control boards etc.)
Handle refrigerants safely recovery recycling and recharging
Maintain accurate service records and advise clients on energy efficiency
Respond to emergency breakdown calls

Education & Certification:
Minimum OND Trade Test Certificate or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Relevant professional certification (e.g. City & Guilds NABTEB or industry-recognized HVAC/R certification) is an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 24 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration and air conditioning work.
Proven experience handling a variety of systems residential commercial and industrial.

Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of HVAC principles and systems.
Proficiency in refrigerant handling and gas charging procedures.
Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and smart HVAC controls is an added advantage.
Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge relevant to HVAC/R systems.
