Service Manager

Eidyn Care is looking for a strong Service Manager / Deputy Manager to lead our growing Fife home care service.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants real responsibility not just paperwork and box-ticking.

Youll lead the team keep the service running smoothly and make sure our clients receive outstanding care in their own homes.

The Role

You will manage the day-to-day running of the Fife service supporting coordinators field staff and care workers.

Youll work closely with the Registered Manager but will be trusted to run the service independently.

This role is office-based in Lochgelly with visits to clients and staff for care reviews supervisions and spot checks.

Participation in the on-call rota is required.

What Youll Be Responsible For

• Running the Service
• Leading the day-to-day operations
• Making sure clients receive safe high-quality care
• Keeping standards high and problems low
• Maintaining Care Inspectorate compliance
• Carrying out audits and improvements
• Making sure the service runs smoothly

Leading the Team

• Supporting field supervisors and care staff
• Supervisions and appraisals
• Managing monthly KPIs
• Helping recruit and onboard new staff
• Building a positive team culture
• Setting clear expectations

Keeping Things Organised

• Oversight of rotas and staffing levels
• Accurate care records and documentation
• Working with councils and professionals
• Supporting service growth

What Were Looking For

Essential

• Experience in home care or social care
• Experience leading or supervising staff
• Strong organisational skills
• Calm under pressure
• Good IT and written skills
• SVQ Level 3 (or working towards Level 4)
• Willingness to register with SSSC
• Driving licence

Ideal Experience

• Deputy Manager or Service Manager experience
• Care Inspectorate experience
• Audit or compliance experience
• Coordinating or rota experience
