French Teacher

Bacchus Marsh Grammar is an independent co-educational non-denominational Prep Reception to Year 12 School with three vibrant campuses in Melbournes west. The school prides itself on being an employer of choice and the professionalism diligence and quality of its staff.

Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join the team at our Maddingley Campus. This is a full time ongoing role. The successful applicant will teach classes across Years 5-10 with the possibility to teach VCE classes for the right candidate.

Commencement date to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high quality language lessons aligned with curriculum standards;
• Teach French to students at various levels;
• Assess monitor and report on student progress;
• Encourage students interest in language and culture

Key Selection Criteria

Applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Appropriate teaching qualifications with an ability to become registered in Victoria as a Teacher;
• Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent;
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a French teacher.
• First aid certificate.
• Valid drivers licence.
