About the opportunity

• Contribute to course coordination and oversee the design and development of new units / courses.
• Undertake unit / course coordination and contribute to curriculum innovation and postgraduate education courses.
• Engage in world-class research and actively support the strategic initiatives of the University and School.

About you

• A completed doctorate in the field of Education or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated record of teaching and course coordination in higher education in particular primary teacher education.
• Evidence of a high level of knowledge of national policy and regulatory requirements in initial teacher education.
• A research profile commensurate with the expectations of the role with evidence of potential to secure internal and/or external grants.
• Evidence of engagement with the external community research and/or professional bodies to advance knowledge and/or practice in the field of Education.
