Job Title: Field Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager/Business Development Manager Retail & Project Sales

Role Purpose
The role is responsible for driving business growth across Retail and Project Sales in the assigned Gujarat territory. The position involves expanding dealer-distributor networks developing relationships with builders contractors architects consultants and ensuring achievement of sales targets through strong market execution.
The level of responsibility will vary based on designation (Executive / Manager) including territory execution channel management project conversions and team leadership (for managerial roles).
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Growth & Market Development
- Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned territory.
- Drive revenue growth through Retail and Project Sales channels.
- Identify new business opportunities in Ahmedabad Vadodara & Surat markets.
- Expand market penetration in residential commercial and infrastructure sectors.
- Generate demand through contractors builders influencers and retail network.
2. Retail Sales & Channel Management
- Appoint and develop new retailers dealers distributors and sub-dealers.
- Increase secondary sales through retailer engagement and market coverage.
- Ensure stock availability stock rotation and timely replenishment.
- Manage distributor ROI payment follow-ups and credit discipline.
- Resolve channel conflicts and ensure healthy business relationships.
3. Project Sales & Stakeholder Management
- Identify and track new project opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Build relationships with:
- Builders & Developers
- Contractors & Applicators
- Architects & Consultants
- PMCs / Engineers
- Ensure product specification and approvals in BOQs tenders and drawings.
- Conduct site visits product presentations technical discussions and trials.
- Convert inquiries into orders and manage project pipeline effectively.
4. Technical & Commercial Coordination
- Coordinate with technical teams for demos mock-ups and product application support.
- Support pricing discussions commercial negotiations and closures.
- Coordinate with logistics plant accounts and supply chain for smooth execution.
- Ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction.
5. Brand Visibility & Market Activation
- Ensure visibility through shop boards signage posters displays and branding.
- Execute schemes promotional activities sampling and local campaigns.
- Conduct mason meets contractor meets dealer meets and awareness programs.
- Monitor competitor pricing schemes and market intelligence.
6. Team Management (For Manager Level)
- Lead and guide Sales Executives / Officers.
- Conduct joint market visits and review productivity.
- Ensure beat planning reporting discipline and performance improvement.
- Train team on product knowledge and market execution.
7. Reporting & MIS
- Submit daily market visit reports and weekly/monthly sales updates.
- Maintain customer database and pipeline records.
- Prepare forecasts collection status and sales MIS.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting systems.

- Strong knowledge of Indore Bhopal & Jabalpur markets
- Retail channel & project sales understanding

Qualification & Experience
For Executive Level:
- Graduate / Diploma preferred
- Fresher candidates are welcomed
- 05 years of experience in retail/project sales
- Experience in building materials / paints / construction chemicals preferred
For Manager Level:
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA (Sales/Marketing preferred)
- 510 years of experience in sales
- Minimum 23 years handling independent territory/team
