About the role

  • Lead end-to-end asset lifecycle management across a complex hospital environment from installation and commissioning through to maintenance upgrades and decommissioningensuring accurate asset registers lifecycle plans and compliance records.

  • Coordinate and deliver asset-related works across the campus including medical equipment plant and infrastructure while maintaining high standards of safety quality and operational performance.

  • Manage minor works and refurbishment projects from planning through to delivery overseeing scope timelines and budgets to achieve cost-effective outcomes.

  • Drive contractor and service provider performance ensuring works are completed on time to specification and in line with WHS risk and statutory compliance requirements.

  • Maintain critical asset and building documentation including as-built drawings compliance certifications and maintenance systems (CMMS) supporting audits reporting and continuous improvement.


About you

  • Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications with proven experience in engineering facilities asset management or constructionideally within live healthcare or complex infrastructure environments.

  • Strong background in asset maintenance and contractor management with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver within tight operational and budget deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to influence negotiate and manage internal teams and external service providers.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/facilities management systems (AFM/CMMS) with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Solid understanding of compliance frameworks WHS standards and relevant building codes Australian Standards and healthcare regulations.
