Job Posting Title: Accountant Analyst

Title: Accountant

Location: Warsaw office - hybrid with mandatory 3 days in office schedule

Grade: 10

Position Summary.

• Assist with accounting integration; Map local accounting records to corporate ledger and upload periodic trial balance activity; lead integration accounting workflow status reporting.
• Consistently look at process and identify opportunities for improvement/streamlining.
• Responsible for month-end close activities including closing subledgers preparing accruals recording journal entries reviewing account trends and providing analysis as required.
• Manage daily accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of general ledger. Review flux and trend analyses of financial statements data monthly.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations. Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to determine the proper accounting treatment of business transactions and resolve any aging items.
• Support internal and external audits as well as external reporting activities.
• Assess current SOX controls to ensure adequacy. Identify and implement any new controls on existing or new processes including updating/creating process documentation collaborating with business process owners etc.
• Interpret and apply financial policies and procedures for each organization; encourage and monitor compliance.
• Review complex and unusual transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and relative disclosures.
• Lead ad hoc projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of two years relevant work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Systems aptitude with strong Office 365 and Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed CPA or Chartered Accountant or Candidate
• Industry / Corporate Accounting experience
• Experience from Big Four Firms or Public Accounting
• Experience with Oracle ERP (On-prem and Cloud) or SAP Business Objects.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Workiva applications
