Senior R&D Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

As a Senior R&D Intelligence Analyst at Hyland youll sit at the intersection of business strategy and data analytics transforming existing data and reports into insights that drive real decisions. Youll partner closely with engineering leaders product managers and analytics engineers to answer the questions that matter most: where to invest where to improve and where the next opportunity is hiding in the data. Your Role Responsibilities Heres What Youll Do

• Explore existing data models and reports to surface trends correlations anomalies and opportunities the organization is not yet seeing
• Tackle open-ended business questions such as how AI is impacting engineering throughput or where defect hotspots exist and translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations tailored to non-technical audiences
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Analytics Engineers leading discovery conversations to elicit challenge refine and document requirements that often start vague or incomplete
• Build and maintain reports dashboards and ad-hoc analyses in Power BI on top of data models curated in Microsoft Fabric
• Write SQL or PySpark in Fabric notebooks to profile data prototype analyses and validate outputs
• Validate report outputs maintain user-facing documentation including metric definitions and report guides and coach stakeholders on how to effectively use and interpret reports

Role Essentials What Youll Need

1. Demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations that have influenced real business outcomes not just charts
2. Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python/PySpark for data exploration and prototyping
3. Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or an equivalent BI platform
4. Solid understanding of relational data data warehouses and lakehouse concepts
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to tell a clear compelling story to non-technical audiences and engage constructively with stakeholders

What Wed Like to See

1. Strong business acumen with genuine curiosity about how product and engineering organizations work including investment decisions product lifecycle delivery quality and customer adoption
2. Hands-on experience with engineering and product metrics such as DORA throughput escaped defects ARR retention or adoption
3. Experience using Jira Confluence Git or similar collaboration and development tools
4. Comfort with ambiguity the ability to take a half-formed question engage stakeholders and return with a sharper well-defined analysis
5. Self-directed and proactive working style with the ability to start adding value without fully written instructions

Compensation

This role offers a salary range of PLN gross per year based on experience and qualifications.
