OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development we produce some of the worlds most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

  • Lead and continuously improve Systems Engineering and System Safety frameworks across the Munitions business

  • Support bids and projects by applying tailored systems engineering methods to deliver safe highquality solutions

  • Manage and develop a team of System Safety Engineers overseeing workload performance and growth

  • Drive discipline uplift across engineering teams and act as a mentor and technical authority

  • Collaborate with customers partners and crossfunctional teams to deliver complex engineering outcomes

  • Contribute to project leadership by fostering innovation ensuring timely delivery and upholding safety and compliance

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics Chemical or equivalent) with eligibility for Chartered Engineer and NER registration

  • Proven experience in similar engineering roles within design and manufacturing environments

  • Capability using frameworks such as DDQS and MILSTD882

  • Strong engineering fundamentals including firstprinciples calculations configuration management and understanding of quality systems

  • High level interpersonal organisational and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Desirable experience in agile environments and familiarity with Defence operations

A Defence security clearance is required for this role applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
