• Capture system-level requirements and flow them down to component definitions

• Identify and define validation and verification needs to demonstrate compliance

• Develop component and module designs to meetcost performance and lifeobjectives

• Apply additive design best practices preferably forDMLM/DMLSprocesses

• Produce and release engineering deliverables in line with policies and procedures includingdrawings presentations and analysis/technical reports

• Maintain strong configuration discipline and clear technical communication

• Contribute to and present in design reviews and program milestones

• Communicate design trades risks and verification status to stakeholders

• Coordinate closely withManufacturing Quality Sourcing NDT Program and internal/external suppliers

• Proactively support producibility resolve issues and drive improvements via concurrent engineering andcost-out/product improvementactivities

Qualification/Requirements

• Technical diploma

• Knowledge/experience designingadditive components preferably usingDMLM/DMLS

• Experience withCAD tools( NX)

• Solid fundamentals inmechanical design(statics strength of materials dynamics)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven teamwork and inclusiveness

• Clear-thinking diligent and results-oriented working style

• FluentEnglish and Italian(written and spoken)

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

• Knowledge ofaero-enginecomponents/modules technical requirements and design solutions

• Experience inmechanical design of complex productsandNew Product Introduction (NPI)

• Fundamentals offluid mechanicsandheat transfer

• Experience instructural stress analysis
