Job Summary

FD Group a Consulting firm specialising in the Automotive & Industrial Machinery sector operating in Italy and abroad is looking for a professional to join its team as UX Designer Automotive (GOTEBORG - SWEDEN) to be placed at a client company operating in the automotive sector based in Sweden:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimisation of user interfaces for automotive systems central display units (CSD) and mobile applications
  • Development of interactive prototypes to support concept and product development phases
  • Analysis and improvement of the in-vehicle user experience
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary Design Engineering and Product teams to ensure the quality and consistency of UX solutions
  • Production of technical specifications and UX documentation for development teams
  • Monitoring of market trends and UX/UI best practices in the automotive and mobile sectors

Requirements:

  • Degree in Design or a related discipline with a UX specialisation
  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive sector or related fields
  • Experience in designing touch interfaces for mobile applications and digital systems
  • Solid knowledge of UX/UI iconography layout interactions and user behaviour
  • Experience in user feedback analysis and UX research studies
  • Excellent command of Figma After Effects Photoshop and Illustrator
  • High level of operational autonomy and strong team-oriented attitude
  • Fluent written and spoken English (essential requirement for working in an international environment)
  • Availability to work predominantly on-site at the Goteborg Sweden offices
  • Availability for business travel to China (23 trips per year)

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in HMI design for infotainment systems or digital clusters in an OEM environment
  • Familiarity with UX development processes in agile and multidisciplinary contexts
  • Knowledge of Swedish or Chinese
