What you will do
Act as primary client contact for safety leadership
Manage on-call tasks from scope through closeout
Translate requests into clear plans schedules staffing and deliverables
Oversee safety programs including SMS Safety and Security Certification and Risk-Based Inspection
Ensure alignment with FTA OSHA and industry standards
Lead audits corrective actions and hazard tracking
Manage teams budgets and timelines
Review deliverables for quality accuracy and compliance
Provide clear updates reports and executive summaries
What you bring
10 plus years in safety compliance or program management
Experience in transit transportation infrastructure or other regulated environments
Background in audits inspections or compliance programs
Strong project leadership and communication skills
Working knowledge of OSHA or FTA requirements
Experience with safety management systems and risk mitigation
Nice to have
Certifications such as CSP ASP PMP SMS or similar
Transit experience including bus or rail
Familiarity with APTA or State Safety Oversight
Experience with dashboards reporting or audit tracking tools
