What you will do

• Act as primary client contact for safety leadership
• Manage on-call tasks from scope through closeout
• Translate requests into clear plans schedules staffing and deliverables
• Oversee safety programs including SMS Safety and Security Certification and Risk-Based Inspection
• Ensure alignment with FTA OSHA and industry standards
• Lead audits corrective actions and hazard tracking
• Manage teams budgets and timelines
• Review deliverables for quality accuracy and compliance
• Provide clear updates reports and executive summaries
  
  

What you bring

• 10 plus years in safety compliance or program management
• Experience in transit transportation infrastructure or other regulated environments
• Background in audits inspections or compliance programs
• Strong project leadership and communication skills
• Working knowledge of OSHA or FTA requirements
• Experience with safety management systems and risk mitigation

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CSP ASP PMP SMS or similar
• Transit experience including bus or rail
• Familiarity with APTA or State Safety Oversight
• Experience with dashboards reporting or audit tracking tools

Compensation

$55.29 $74.52 Hourly depending on experience certifications and qualifications
