What you will do
- Act as primary client contact for safety leadership
- Manage on-call tasks from scope through closeout
- Translate requests into clear plans schedules staffing and deliverables
- Oversee safety programs including SMS Safety and Security Certification and Risk-Based Inspection
- Ensure alignment with FTA OSHA and industry standards
- Lead audits corrective actions and hazard tracking
- Manage teams budgets and timelines
- Review deliverables for quality accuracy and compliance
- Provide clear updates reports and executive summaries
What you bring
- 10 plus years in safety compliance or program management
- Experience in transit transportation infrastructure or other regulated environments
- Background in audits inspections or compliance programs
- Strong project leadership and communication skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA or FTA requirements
- Experience with safety management systems and risk mitigation
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CSP ASP PMP SMS or similar
- Transit experience including bus or rail
- Familiarity with APTA or State Safety Oversight
- Experience with dashboards reporting or audit tracking tools

Compensation
$55.29 $74.52 Hourly depending on experience certifications and qualifications
