Summary:
Assist technologists during procedures in order to expedite the best diagnosis to patient and deliver quality care.
Responsibilities:
1. Greets patients directs patient flow from waiting rooms to exam rooms. Has patient fill out proper forms if applicable.
2. Evaluates patient prescriptions to ensure proper exam is performed pertaining to individual ailment.
3. Orders and completes all cerner functions.
4. Changes patient and prepares patient for procedure.
5. Performs exam with technologist and offers assistance to patient technologist & radiologist throughout entire procedure.
6. Retrieves x-rays medical records nuclear medicine reports and develops radiographs as needed.
7. Brings films to radiologist to evaluate.
8. Cleans exam room following procedures and restocks used materials.
9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
