Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented general clerk to assist administrative staff during a high-volume fabrication period. This role is essential in ensuring smooth material handling procurement and inventory control processes to support welding and fabrication operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support administrative staff with material handling and checkout activities
Assist in procurement of fabrication consumables and materials
Prepare and submit purchase requisitions
Verify received materials against specifications and requirements
Organize label and store incoming materials properly
Manage checkout and distribution of materials to welding staff
Maintain accurate records of material usage and inventory
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
12 years of experience working with computers
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and basic computer applications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow established processes and instructions
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
Capable of lifting storing and retrieving weld wire and other consumable materials as needed
