Job Summary
Protect Public Safety. Keep Traffic Moving. Build a Career.
Help protect travelers and keep traffic moving through a vital bridge tunnel facility. Were seeking reliable safetyfocused individuals who can work independently and respond effectively in a fastpaced environment.
What Youll Do
- Stop and inspect vehicles for overheight hazardous materials and safety concerns
- Provide traffic control and facility security
- Assist police fire and emergency responders during incidents
- Patrol tunnels and roadways; report hazards
- Provide roadside assistance and operate company vehicles/equipment
Schedule
- Guaranteed 40 hours/week
- 8hour shifts 5 days/week
- Shifts available based on operational need:
- 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM 6:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Virginia Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to safety
- Willing to complete paid DOT and CPR training
CDL strongly preferred but not required
