JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant (Full-Time)
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with all functions associated with the front office and as a member of the patient care team. These duties include coordinating patient services performing check-in procedures patient preparation for procedure recording vitals and obtaining EKGs if needed cleaning of patient stretchers and bays for quick turnover and assisting in discharging patients. The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with medical staff and patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization.
- Certification Required.
