Job Summary: As a Junior Project Manager at Syntax you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of projects across various domains. You will collaborate closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals timelines and budgets are met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in SAP project management and gain hands-on experience in managing diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning coordination and delivery of project activities
Assist in analysing client business processes and requirements to help develop effective project plans.
Help organize and facilitate project meetings workshops and sprint ceremonies.
Track project progress timelines and deliverables ensuring tasks are completed according to the project plan.
Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements document decisions and maintain project documentation.
Monitor risks issues and action items escalating concerns to the Project Manager when necessary.
Assist with testing coordination and troubleshooting to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Support change request tracking and maintain project logs (risks issues decisions and actions).
Communicate project updates to stakeholders and help manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Contribute to maintaining best practices tools and methodologies during project delivery.
Provide enduser support or assist with training activities to support successful solution adoption.
Ensure project documentation such as status reports meeting notes and lessons learned are maintained.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Computer Science or a related field.
12 years of experience or internship exposure in project coordination consulting or IT environments.
Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall Agile or Scrum).
Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Jira or similar) is an advantage.
Interest in developing a career in project management within ERP or technology projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with project management tools is advantageous.
Project Management certification (e.g. CAPM PMP) is a plus but not mandatory.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field as mentioned above.
Project Management certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
