POSITION: Junior AccountantSTATUS: Permanent; Full-Time with benefitsSHIFT: 35 hours per weekLOCATION: Provincial Office in Vancouver BCCLASSIFICATION: Exempt WAGE: Salaried CLOSING DATE: Open Until FilledAbout the Position:Reporting to the Assistant Controller the AP/AR Clerk assists in processing entry and payment of accounts payables and receivables for the Society in a timely manner and ensures that all associated records are accurately specific duties:Processing of payables: Receiving invoices and expense claims checking for completion and invoices into accounting vendor accounts as backup documents and reports for high-volume cheque cheques in a prompt and efficient filing and records for all paid with payables requirements for interim and year-end audit of receivables:Receiving revenue reports and bank information from revenue and bank information into accounting bank accounts belonging to non-unionized filing and records for related revenue reports and bank and distribution of accounts receivable invoices and filing and records of invoices and other duties as you need to have:Minimum of three (3) years of accounts payable or receivables computer skills essential; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite with Financial Edge an command of the English language verbal and interpersonal teamwork customer service and communication organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member with minimum to prioritize demands on be flexible to perform a variety of with not-for-profit accounting is an with paperless software/system an harmony with the vision mission and strategic directions of the BC SPCA.
