We Are Looking For

The Machine Operator III is an experienced position responsible for operating mid-to-high complex machinery under minimal supervision. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance troubleshooting non-routine machine issues and supporting the training of new operators. This individual is responsible for advanced CNC operations developing process improvements and overseeing machine setups with precision while upholding safety and quality protocols. This position plays a vital role in driving production efficiency fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory compliance.


What Youll Do

As a Machine Operator III youll be responsible for:

  • Responsible for operating mid-to-high complex machinery following standard instructions and adjusting settings for variations.
  • Train and guide junior operators on complex machine functions.
  • Resolve non-routine machine issues using extensive operational knowledge.
  • Recommend improvements to machine efficiency and maintenance schedules and workflow adjustments to meet production demands.
  • Develop a full understanding of software to support advanced programming and setup tasks.
  • Perform part setup and tooling setup ensuring machines are correctly configured including tool calibration material loading and alignment to tolerances.
  • Document machine performance and report findings maintaining logs of operational status and reporting irregularities to lead or supervisor for review.
  • Read and comprehened technical drawings to understand machining requirements and ensure alignment with production goals.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to monitor product quality identifying issues like improper cuts insulation damage misalignment etc. and making necessary adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in loading and unloading raw materials into machines verifying quantities and types against documentation under minimal oversight.
  • Clean and maintain equipment under minimal supervision
  • Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles clear properly storing materials and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.
  • Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards.


What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3 years of machine operating or manufacturing experience or equivalent on-the-job training with demonstrated proficiency in operating mid-to-high complex machinery.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards with a focus on continuous improvement

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • ITAR Requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Must be willing to work 2nd shift weekday schedule; Monday - Friday: 1:30pm-10pm.
