Job Summary

Senior Communications Officer

  • X3full-time temporary opportunities (one 12-month and two 3-month positions)

About the role

Join the Early Childhood Education and Care Strategic Communications team at a pivotal time for thesector and help shape communications that supports childrenfamiliesand early learning servicesacross NSW.

The Senior Communications Officer coordinates and executes the planning development implementation and evaluation of strategiesprogramsand projects for the Directorates integrated communications responsibilitiesinvolve:

  • Designing and delivering communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for priority programs

  • Gathering insights andidentifyingemerging issues and opportunities

  • Developing clear targeted communications for parents and carers

  • Managing multi-channel communications (newsletters campaigns briefings forums webinars digital content)

  • Preparing high-quality reports submissionscorrespondenceand briefings.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline () ordemonstratedequivalent knowledge and/or experience.

  • Strong at communication and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience delivering digital materials across webnewslettersand social channels.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
