About The Role

As a Payroll Officer you will play a key role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time while keeping everything compliant and running smoothly behind the scenes.

Youll support end-to-end payroll operations across the business working closely with Finance People Operations and HRBPs to deliver a reliable and high-quality payroll service. This role sits at the heart of day-to-day operations balancing accuracy responsiveness and continuous improvement.

Its a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-focused work problem solving and being part of a collaborative supportive team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage payroll and MyPay inboxes responding to queries and escalating where needed
  • Process payroll changes including new starters terminations leave and allowances
  • Ensure accurate payroll records trackers and supporting documentation are maintained
  • Support superannuation processing payroll tax and month-end reporting activities
  • Prepare employment verifications reports and payroll-related documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and drive efficiency

You are detail-oriented reliable and take pride in getting things right. You enjoy working with data processes and systems and have a strong sense of accountability when it comes to accuracy and deadlines.

Youre a team player who communicates clearly and works well with others across the business. Youre proactive organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks while always looking for ways to improve how things are done.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience in payroll administration or payroll processing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of Australian payroll and superannuation requirements
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders
