The opportunity
We have two opportunities for Program Managers to join the NSW this role you will lead multiple teams to design and deliver environmental policies programs and projects that support the EPAs and NSW Governments strategic priorities. You will oversee research and analysis provide expert advice and recommendations to inform policy strategy and program development and drive the implementation of innovative practical solutions that contribute to improved environmental outcomes across NSW.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience in the development implementation and review of strategic programs
- Extensive experience in the provision of strategic advice related to government programs projects and initiatives
- Demonstrated understanding of the workings of government at a state and local level
- Demonstrated experience in either project contract or budget management or procurement.
- Experience in managing staff complex projects and setting priorities.
About the team
This role sits within the EPAs Policy Programs & Finance Division which leads the design and delivery of key environmental policies programs and strategic initiatives that support the EPAs regulatory priorities and the NSW Governments environmental agenda. You will be joining a passionate and high-performing division with a strong track record of delivering complex programs and innovative policy solutions and a shared commitment to delivering meaningful environmental outcomes for the people of NSW.
